Dyandayini Pratishthan Our Since the last four years, our organization has been providing skill training to youth and women from self-help groups in Pune's urban and rural areas. Creating awareness among youth about entrepreneurship as a means to achieve sustainability and national development. Empowering women in villages and urban slums by providing skill-based training and guiding them in entrepreneurship. Helping individuals utilize available resources effectively to improve economic conditions. We strive to create awareness among young individuals about the significance of entrepreneurship as a pathway to self-reliance and national progress.
By fostering an entrepreneurial mindset, we encourage them to explore new opportunities, develop innovative ideas, and contribute actively to India's economic growth. Our mission is to empower women residing in villages and urban slums by offering specialized skill-based training tailored to their needs. We provide them with hands-on guidance and mentorship, enabling them to start their own businesses, achieve financial independence, and uplift their communities.
Since the last four years, we have been organizing soft skill training programs for youth from Pune's urban and rural areas. These training sessions are conducted over two days at Pune Urban locations like Gokhalenagar and Kondhwa, as well as at Kaman Village in Khed Taluka. The objective of this training is to develop youth capacity through leadership, communication, and organizational skills. We aim to empower young individuals by enhancing their confidence and career readiness. So far, around 240 youth from both urban and rural Pune have benefited from these training programs.
Through interactive workshops, group activities, and real-world case studies, participants gain practical knowledge to apply in their personal and professional lives. Our trainers include industry experts and experienced mentors who provide valuable insights and guidance. These programs also foster networking opportunities, helping young individuals connect with like-minded peers and professionals. We believe that investing in youth today will create strong, self-reliant leaders of tomorrow. With continuous efforts, we aim to expand our reach and impact even more lives in the coming years.
Specifically designed for children from tribal families, ensuring quality education for underprivileged communities. Since 2007-08, our organization has been providing education to students from 1st to 12th Std. at Gholenagar and Kondwa Kh., Pune. Through our coaching classes, we have supported students from poor families, with over 1,200 students benefiting so far. With the collaboration of Pune Municipal Corporation, we provided education to school dropouts from Pune urban slums during 2009-10.
Through this campaign, a total of 550 children received access to education, helping them reintegrate into the learning system. To further enhance learning, we conduct special workshops on life skills, career guidance, and digital literacy. Our team also organizes parent awareness programs to emphasize the importance of education and consistent academic support at home. By fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future for these children.
During this auspicious time, our dedicated team organizes events that blend cultural celebration with community service. We provide essential supplies such as clothing and nutritious food packages, ensuring that families can experience the warmth and vibrancy of Diwali without worry. Diwali is a festival that destroys the darkness in life, but in the lives of the tribal Katkari community, what is the Diwali festival called? And how it is celebrated is not known due to their economic situation. The children there did not even know what a laddu is.
Then the organization decided that every year Diwali was celebrated by distributing Diwali snacks to tribal villages, pades, and settlements and making them happy. From 2007 to today, a small effort was made to distribute Diwali snacks to tribal Katkari families in 15 villages and settlements in the Velha, Bhor, and Panshet areas of Taluka and bring joy to their faces. The organization is still making a small effort to reduce the darkness in their lives to some extent. From now on, this will continue with the cooperation of all of us.
